Double Lolly - a wrapped, two-tone colour and fruity flavour with a chalky texture. Another memory from childhood. How long did you have to suck it before it started to break and you could crunch it! Delicious sweet treat.
The Double Lolly was launched by Swizzel Mattlow in 1950, and saw a huge rise in it's export sales during the 1970's which was attributed to the popularity of the lolly sucking detective Kojak!!
