Liquorice Root

Liquorice Root ,This is real liquorice root which you chew! It lasts for days, and is a really old fashioned sweet! Alternatively pop it in boiling water and leave to infuse for a liquoricey-hot drink. 3 sticks for £1.20. Weight is approximate due to the size of the sticks. So many customers have fond nostalgic memories of this from childhood. We are often told tales of a paper bag containing the liquorice root being hidden in the old fashioned desk with pupils taking a quick chew on the root as they lift the lid to get their textbooks!  I bet there were plenty of liquorice stained books, fingers and faces!!
