Orders & Payment
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store and click on the products you would like to order and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "checkout" and you will be asked to pay using our secure payment provider Sagepay .
If you would prefer to make an order over the phone, please phone us on 01765 688997.
All prices shown are valid at the time of placing the order. We reserve the right to alter prices.
Shipping
Orders within England, Scotland (excluding Highlands & Islands) & Wales are sent via Parcelforce and Royal Mail (first class) and may require a signature on delivery so please make sure the delivery address is one where someone can sign for the order. A next business day courier service can be selected for orders required urgently. On the Parcelforce Courier Service, orders placed before Midday can be shipped that day (Monday - Friday) for next business day delivery. You can expect to receive your order within 2-3 days of placing your order for regular Royal Mail delivery, depending on the time of year. Orders to Northern Ireland, Highlands & Islands will all be sent with Royal Mail. In the event of Postal Strikes, if your order is urgent we suggest you select the Parcelforce Courier Service.
Royal Mail postage costs are a minimum of £2.95 for orders weghing under 1kg, and £4.95 for orders up to 4kg of sweets or hampers. Parcels heavier than this will cost £9.95. For all Parcelforce Courier Service parcels, the minimum charge is £7.50 for this quicker service. We add a small fee to cover packaging costs and you will be informed of the full postage and packaging costs before we ask for payment. For orders being sent to Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands & Islands, Channel Islands and Isle of Man, please ensure you select the correct shipping category for these areas.
For overseas orders, you can select either Airmail or Surface Mail and this will determine how much postage costs you pay (based on weight). Please bear in mind that whilst Airmail is more expensive, the parcel should be with you within 7-10 business days. For Surface Mail, orders can take up to 10 weeks to arrive, and this is reflected in the cheaper postage costs.
We process orders Monday-Friday and try to dispatch all orders the same day if we receive the order by 12noon. Orders taken after 12noon on a Friday will be processed first thing Monday morning. If your order has not arrived within 1 week of placing the order, please contact us.
Out of Stock Products
We aim to ensure that all the sweets on offer are in stock, but in the unlikely event of an item being out of stock, and a delivery is expected in a couple of days we will hold your order until it is ready to be shipped in its entirety. We will inform you if this is the case.
If the item will not be back in stock for more than a couple of days we will send as much of your order as we can, and then ship the remaining product as soon as we receive it. Alternatively, if there is a similar product available, we reserve the right to substitute this for the product order.
Ingredient Information
Due to the nature of the manufacture of our sweets and the number of suppliers we use, we cannot guarantee that they are free from traces of nuts, free of gelatine, free of whey powder, cocoa powder, and certain 'E' numbers. We are apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. If you do require any specific information about a certain product then please contact us directly and we will do our best to answer your queries.
Returns Policy
We hope that you will be completely satisfied with your purchases, but if you are not, then please return the products within 7 days of receipt, to:

Please note: we do our best to ensure that all sweets are sent out in perfect condition - we can not accept responsibility for the climatic conditions experienced once the product has left the shop.
Missing Parcels
In the extremely unlikely event that your parcel does not arrive, please can you inform the shop within one month of the date of the order for us to investigate the problem.
Privacy Policy
Any information we may ask you for i.e. telephone number, your postal and email address, we will never give this information out to anyone without your approval.
Bah Humbugs operates within the guidelines set out by the U.K. Data Protection Act (1998). Credit card details will not be kept after the completion of each order.
We use cookies on our website. They are used to retain your login, and hold no personal information other than your username. This can be disabled through your account settings. We can assure you that your security and personal information is secure and safe.
