For those of you not familiar with Jelly Bellys, they are
There are only four pieces of Jelly Belly Art in the whole of the UK, all created by Britain’s own home grown artist Malcolm West. Malcolm explains: "First I create a rough pencil drawing, using a photograph of the subject. Then I paint a tight colour composition and finish by creating a mosaic of Jelly Belly jelly beans. I soak the beans in clear glue, wet the painting with more glue, and then slide the appropriately coloured beans into position. I mix a variety of colours in any one area to create an impressionistic look and vibrating colours and use all forty official flavours of Jelly Belly beans as they give me a full palette of colours. I treat each bean like a gem - laying each one is a very painstaking process. But the effect is very exciting"
