Bah Humbugs Sweet Shop was opened in 2004 after a few nostalgic sweets orientated conversations with friends about the retro sweets we used to eat from the old sweet shop. Within a month of having the initial idea i'd found a suitable shop in the Yorkshire Dales, sourced all the suppliers and roped in loads of family and friends to transform the shop into a haven for sweet fanatics and Bah Humbugs was born!!
The sweets went down a storm from the outset and we launched the online sweet shop the following year to satisfy the demand for repeat orders from customers worldwide.
Today, Bah Humbugs has one of the largest selections of traditional English sweets, liquorices, lollipops, toffees, fudges, jellies and mints online.
We are extremely proud to boast that Bah Humbugs has now become renowned in the confectionery world as the one-stop-shop for all things Liquorice! We stock over 50 varieties of liquorice in different flavours and textures from throughout the world which is very significant as Yorkshire has historically been synonymous with the manufacture of liquorice.
